Just in case there are some of you who didn’t notice the top right of the screen. The Hungry Lion is pleased to announce a new update to our database. The restaurant locator now features over 60 restaurants and we’ve found some real gems from the Morningside Heights area. Check out the update then head over the locator and order up some yummies!

The Hungry Lion is proud to present our new food blog, The Lion’s Den. The Lion’s Den was designed to provide information on all things food for Columbia students and the greater Morningside Heights community. It will also serve as medium for communication between Hungry Lion staff and users. You’ll notice that in the top right, we have an announcement box specifically for news and updates to the Hungry Lion main site.

As it is our intent to provide simple, unbiased restaurant listings on The Hungry Lion restaurant locator, The Lion’s Den will serve as our companion site for providing more “editorial” content. Here, in the main blog portion of the site, we’ll be featuring restaurant reviews, recipes, and general posts on cooking, eating, and drinking. Also, you’ll notice a link to a user feedback forum in upper navigation. This forum is meant for any corrections, suggestions, or requests you may have for both The Hungry Lion and The Lion’s Den. We, at The Hungry Lion, love food and love talking about food so feel free to be active and participate in our little foodie community. We hope you’re enjoying the site so far. Please visit often.
